Irina Sciogoleva

Biography Irina Sciogoleva, born on 24th June, 1975, graduated from the University of Arts in Chisinau, Moldova. In 1999 she was admitted to the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Chisinau on the competitive basis and made her debut as Micaela in opera “Carmen” G. Bizet. Her vocal mentors were a prominent Moldovan-American soprano Svetlana Strezeva and Vladimir Dragos, the Honoured Artist of Moldova. Her tours include Sweden, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, and Switzerland. She was a second prize winner at the National Competition “A. Stircea” in 1997, she also won diplomas at the International Competition “H. Darclea” in Romania and at the International Competition “Vox Artis”, Romania. Languages: Russian, Romanian, English, Italian, German. Irina is also welcomed at various concerts and festivals, she has been on the stage for many years in front of a big audience, and she is devoted to her profession very much and is passionate about it. In recent years she has been teaching vocal, finding different methods and techniques in this realm, and realizing that she has a lot to share with people, she has a lot to give, and may be even to help, because teaching singing is not just about bare technique, it is also about devoting one’s soul and emotions. It helps people to enrich themselves, to touch something new in their lives, to feel the brightness of beauty.
