Inês is a soprano born in Portugal and is currently in her second year of undergraduate studies in vocal performance as a scholar at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Susan Waters.
Her musical studies began at the age of 8 in piano and choral singing. Inês graduated from the Conservatório de Música do Porto with a distinction in Classical Singing. As a soloist, Inês has engaged in concerts and recitals in Portugal, with piano and orchestra, and has won several competitions such as the national singing competition of the official conservatoires and the Conservatoire’s internal competition in 2015 (first prize and interpretation prize) and Bomtempo’s prize and interpretation prize in 2014.
Inês has worked with renowned professionals and teachers, namely Sarah Walker, Jonathan Lemalu, Ruby Philogene, Dinah Stabb, John Evans, Norbert Meyn and Matteo Dalle Fratte.
