I have just graduated from Leeds Conservatoire with a Distinction in my Master’s degree in Music. Prior to this I graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Popular Music. Having held residencies at restaurants and hotels for performances, I am always professional, reliable and consistent. My aim is to create the perfect atmosphere whatever the occasion and to provide first class entertainment for those present. I am used to performing in front of both large audiences and also more intimate events such as a private dinner party. I enjoy adapting my performances depending on the atmosphere that is wanted to be created. Having performed in some well known venues both around the country and also in Leeds such as Headingley Stadium, Crafthouse/Angelica’s and the Victoria Gate Casino, I have gained a great sense of achievement in what I do and would love to perform for as many people as possible! I always aim to please and therefore will follow your desires of the chosen event creating a very personal experience. No song request is off the list, I am more than happy to sing whatever genre, theme or style you would like!

India has a beautiful voice and she can sing a variety of styles from ballads to empowering, belted songs. I used her in two of my studio recordings and she was very quick in learning the songs and all of the takes we did were spot on. She's very confident and a great performer!

I booked India to perform for my friends surprise 30th birthday party at the start of the year and she was just fantastic! She brought in her own equipment and set up in no time which relaxed me a LOT!! I had discussed with her how I wanted the evening to go and the type of music my friend likes and her playlist was absolutely perfect. She stayed for 2 hours and due to it being quite a small party, it felt so personal. I would recommend India to anyone wanting stress-free, top quality entertainment. She is such a fabulous singer so would be silly to miss out!

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That is not a problem. If anything changes in the run up to your event, just let me know and I can try to work around you as best possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide a background music playlist not a problem at all! However, this would be at an additional cost depending on the amount of time required.

How much time do you need to set up?

I can set up in around 5-10 minutes if needed. I aim to get to events around 30/40 minutes prior to the start time so everything runs smoothly and I can warm up and get a feel for the venue.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, absolutely. I am willing to learn new songs if requested and can work as personally to your event as desired. We can work together to create the best possible entertainment that I can provide for you. My set lists alter depending on the event so I am very flexible!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes! Everything will be provided and you do not need to worry about anything. My equipment system is wireless as well so can perform wherever, there are no issues to get in the way of the whereabouts of the performance.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes I can learn pieces desired before the event, as long as I know at least a 2 weeks prior to the event. I may possibly know the song already and it just isn't on the set list, so ask away!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

From feedback I have heard over the years, clients love my energy and passion for performing. I often get people saying they want to be performing with me because I look like I have so much fun! Whether it be singing up tempo songs, or even ballads. I have been told I create a great atmosphere and also that people love the tone of my voice!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at a venue in Leeds above Victoria Gate shopping centre called 'East 59th'. Various restaurants and hotels including 'The Oaklands Best Western Hotel' and 'Healing Manor'. The Grimsby Auditorium in front of over 2000 people. I currently hold a residency with 'Folk Wine Bar', accompanying myself on their grand piano.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I think being involved with music from such a young age has made such an impact on myself and influences to date. I love Amy Winehouse and her tone of voice, I also love the classic female stand-out singers like Beyoncé and Adele. Their power in their vocals have always inspired me.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

In terms of crowd, I have performed at an auditorium in front of over 2000 people, including some special guests for example footballer Ian Wright. That was a big moment for myself. Performing at East 59th in Leeds (Victoria Gate)twice was a great achievement of mine as it is a fantastic, sophisticated venue that is highly thought of.
