IndiAmor

IndiAmor is a singer & songwriter based in England. Performing from a young age, throughout life she has always adored the unique qualities of music and being able to share these experiences with others across many varying art forms. Originating with a background in musical theatre, opera and classical singing training, IndiAmor is qualified with Grade 8 in singing and music performance with distinction - she also plays piano, saxophone, clarinet and is currently learning how to play the guitar. IndiAmor's love of music has always been eclectic, she enjoys listening to and performing a wide selection of music ranging from west end numbers and classics such as Frank Sinatra & Aretha Franklin with a big band to Jazz, Neo-Soul, and R&B hits. Her view is that music, across the decades and different genres, connects individuals together through the melodies, lyrics and vocal arrangements in ways that words alone cannot. One of IndiAmor's favourite things to do when performing is to cover a song with her own additional twist, whether this be writing new lyrics, changing the arrangement style or adding riffs & runs to enjoy more vocal play - it's a wonderful feeling to take a song that people recognise and perform it in a different way, reflecting the music from a different angle and style so that it is a whole new experience. Refining her sound, IndiAmor is currently spending a lot of time in the studio working on creating her own music and writing new songs which are reflective of her passions, experiences and values. Best described as a hybrid of R&B, Jazz and Soul, IndiAmor's music combines her love of vocal play indulging in melodic riffs & runs with lyrics of substance which are emotive and relatable; she wants to communicate through song and create music that people can connect with. Memorable performances include: - Royal Albert Hall - Productions of Phantom of the Opera (performing as Carlotta), Les Miserables and Grease. - Solo performance providing entertainment on TV Show 'Come Dine with Me' - Sofar Sounds shows across London (as backing vocalist, band, collaboration and solo performances) - International performances in Thailand, America, Italy, France & Sweden In addition to performing and creating her own music, IndiAmor graduated University with a degree in Music and Entertainment Industry Management and uses this knowledge gained to work with other artists and brands in the industry as a freelance consultant.
