Impromptu are a Professional, London based jazz guitar duo. Experience includes sharing the stage with Sardinian singer Andrea Parodi, Al Di Meola and Israel's singer songwriter Noa. Lead guitarist Gianluca Corona has performed in festivals and clubs in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary and Poland. He recently recorded a guitar duo album (London Stories, 33Jazz) with fellow guitarist Maciek Pysz, receiving many four star reviews. Both guitarists have both toured widely across the UK and abroad. Their composition and arranging work has received the prestiguous Premio Tenco and Premio Citta di Loano for best 2007 album (Rosa Resolza, Adrea Parodi and Elena Ledda, S'Ard Music-Jazz in Sardegna-Vandle99). Gianluca Corona's composition 'A Foua' has been honored by a live recording with guitar ledgend Al Di Meola. Impromptu are available for a variety of gigs ranging from weddings to hotels. Whether you are looking for background music or upbeat, vibrant music to create a lively atmosphere Impromptu are very versatile and able to cater for all occasions.

Impromptu played two 45 minute sets playing a range of tunes including jazz standards, Bossa nova and Latin tunes as well as other requests. On time, reliable and professional. We are using them again for future events.

Impromptu were such a great addition to our party, Dan was very happy to play the style of music that we wanted. They turned up early and were very accomadating , all our guests commented on how good they were and they all enjoyed having a dance to them. I would recommend and use them again without question .
