I Am Groove are a professional, dynamic five piece band from Merseyside, whose ultimate aim is to get the party started by performing a wide range of pop hits, soul classics and rock anthems. The band aim to provide a top quality package which includes high energy and charismatic performances which will make a memorable occasion for all! I Am Groove include some highly ambitious songs within their repertoire, demonstrating an appetite for a challenge and also striving to offer performances that are exhilarating and push their limits as musicians. Featuring male & female lead vocals, they have an impressive collection of songs with plenty of harmonies and are all lively musicians who aren’t afraid to join in on the dance floor!

I am Groove played at my Wedding on Saturday and were honestly amazing!!!! All the songs had my guests up dancing and having a great time. Loads of comments on how cool Chris the bassist is, you can really tell he loves his job and lots of people would book them for their own function if they were to have one in the future. Thank you guys, you were just the best!!!! Loved your covers of our requests too, not very often you get to hear your favourite songs covered by a band at your wedding!! 10/10.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-auditioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keys, Drums.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Not at the moment

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are created from many performances and learning what songs work best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes it is.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a special song you would like to hear, we do offer one free request included in our price. If you require more than one request there is a fee of £30 per song for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc
