We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Husk & Jennings at our hotel - Number Four at Stow - for New Year’s Eve, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They made the night truly unforgettable. They played more sets than usual, keeping the atmosphere vibrant and celebratory right through to past 12:30 AM, ensuring our guests could fully enjoy the countdown and welcome the New Year in style. What really set the night apart was how they involved the guests – allowing them to take the mic and sing along, which created such a fun and interactive experience. From the moment they started playing, the energy in the room was electric. Their setlist was the perfect mix of laid-back acoustic tunes and upbeat classics, effortlessly matching the mood as the night progressed. Guests were completely engaged, and by the time midnight struck, it felt like one big party. Husk & Jennings were professional, accommodating, and an absolute joy to work with. The feedback from our guests has been phenomenal, and we’ll definitely be booking them again for future events. If you’re looking for live music that brings incredible energy and a personal touch, Husk & Jennings are the duo to book!

I hired The Pickin’ Wildflowers for our Wedding Day Planner Christmas Party in December 2025 at the Fox, Stourton near Stourbridge. The performing duo (Adam and Becky) were sensational. I was so impressed with their performance! They’re a genuinely good duo to listen to with beautiful vocals. During the event lead-up Adam was so professional to communicate with and nothing was too much trouble. I set a strict dress code for the party (gold sparkles) and Adam and Becky both complied wonderfully making such an effort to match their outfits to the theme. I’d recommend the Pickin’ Wildflowers to anyone looking for high quality entertainment for their Wedding, Party or special occasion. What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love how we tailor our performance to their event. We also receive lots of positive feedback on musicianship, punctuality, and professionalism.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at a smorgasbord of venues in our time. From Christmas light switch ons in city centers to purpose built wedding barns, oh and the occasional Tepee. We are always delighted to see the creative spaces people are throwing their events.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is a traditional acoustic duo with two acoustic guitar players that both sing.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always do everything we can to help your event run smoothly and understand that timings do sometimes need changing. Just let us know as soon as you can and we will do everything we can to accommodate for any changes in timing.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, we will happily supply music between sets for free. If you would like a DJ set to follow the acoustic performance then this is an extra service we charge at an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

Setup time is crucial for ensuring we get everything sounding and looking fantastic. We usually require 1 to 1.5 hours setup time to ensure everything is dialled in correctly.

Can you roam around while you perform?

This is not something we offer at this time as once we are setup we will be hardwired into our P.A. We do have a portable P.A system so if you want a small performance in a different area to the main performance this is something we can accommodate. We can go into more details on how this would work via an online video consultation.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Through countless gigs we have dialled our setlist into the best received songs in orders carefully thought out to flow seamlessly together. That being said, we want to make sure our performance is tuned into your event and we will happily discuss what kind of songs you would like to hear and you can even cherry pick from our repertoire if you desire.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, this is all included. We are fully self contained so you can rest assured when you book with us that we will have everything required to put on the performance.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we include one song request per event in the booking fee that we will learn specifically for your event. It takes a fair amount of time to learn and rehearse new songs to the point they are ready for performance. So, we do offer the option for you to request more songs but they will be charged an additional £30 per song request.
