About Hull University Big Band

The Big Band society is one of the longest running societies in the Hull University Union.

At the beginning of every new academic year, we audition new players and then get rehearsals underway. We frequently gig at John McCarthy Bar in Hull University Union and also gigs around the general Hull area. In mid-2013 we had the honour of performing at The GoodFellowship Inn with guest trumpeter Steve Parry, a well-known musician who frequently performs with artists including Jamiroquai and Corinne Bailey Rae.
