Coalescent and Hughdem

Alternative hip hop/grime artists from South West London via Hampshire and Kent. We all met during our first year of university, all producers/artists in our own right and started collaborating and making tunes with each other, playing uni open mics and other clubs in the local area. Since then we've gotten to make multiple musical projects together, and gig in numerous venues. Live performance is one of our favourite parts of the musical process. We have a great chemistry together when performing, and know how to get the crowd invested. Since moving to London we have gotten to play shows in great venues in Brixton, Hackney and elsewhere in the UK such as Kent and Brighton, supporting artists such as The Artful Dodger. We’ve gotten a good amount of live experience over the years and can adapt to different occasions and situations, having played in settings from clubs and venues to anniversaries, charity events, school settings and radio/recording sessions. If you want something more relaxed and stripped down, we’ve got more calm songs to play, or if you’d want something more turned up we can do that too! We can also take requests and create remixes of certain songs if asked.
