Holly started out singing with the Hallé Youth Choir in 2011 under Richard Wilberforce. With them she performed at The Bridgewater Hall including performances of Verdi's Simon Boccenegra, Wagner's Die Meistersingers and Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms. Further to this Holly was part of the semi-chorus for the Hallé's Gramaphone Award winning CD, Elgar's The Apostles. She performed in The First Night of the Proms in 2013 in Vaughan Williams's A Sea Symphony, where she also sung with the semi-chorus. This was one of four BBC Proms performances between 2012 and 2015 with the Hallé. In 2013 Holly joined the National Youth Training Choir under Greg Beardsell. In 2014 she became a soprano in the Choir of Clare College, reading music at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge and has recently graduated. During her first year they performed at King's Place, London in Mozart's Requiem with the Aurora Orchestra and sung in the Library of Congress. She has now sung on six CD recordings with the choir. She has also sung with The Exon Singers (2015) which included a BBC Radio 3 evensong broadcast from Buckfast Abbey. She studies with Nicola-Jane Kemp and Margaret McDonald. Holly began her orchestral playing with the Hallé Youth Orchestra in 2011 under Andrew Gourlay and later, Jamie Phillips. With them she performed across the country and abroad, highlights including playing at The Sage, regular performances at The Bridgewater Hall and playing in a world premiere chamber opera, Hot House at The Royal Opera House.
