The Hoedown Band is one of the few professional outfits around that can supply live music for a full country hoedown dance experience. The band has been described as the best of it's type in the UK and features amazing musicians, We've even appeared on The Only Way is Essex - TOWIE (see video). We have many years experience in providing music for a wide range of corporate, birthday, anniversary and wedding functions. We are an international touring band which means that we are available for bookings in the UK between June and September.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients always say how much fun the audience has during the event. Led by the amazing Dawn Moore - who combines her powerful vocal style with some fantastic dance moves with music that truly rocks gets everyone up on their feet. Just look at the smiles on smiles on the audience's faces (see videos) to see what a great time they are having,

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have played many venues ranging from big festivals, posh hotels to village halls and even a family's sitting room. We customise our lineup and technical support to suit the where we're performing so that the client gets the best possible experience.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We have been influenced by many artists from both sides of the Atlantic including the Eagles, Dolly Parton, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johnny Cash, Dixie Chicks, Keith Urban, Alan Jackson, Albion Band, Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention, Tickled Pink amoungst many others...

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The Hoedown Band appeared on The Only Way is Essex in September 2017 when they played for Gemma's Hoedown, raising money for her animal charity. The episode was broadcast in episode 5 of series 21 of the the long running reality show.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is female singer / caller, guitarist / vocalist, fiddle, bass guitar and kit drums. We can slim this down to a four piece by dropping the fiddle player. We can also add a banjo to bring us up to a six piece.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can play appropriate background music between sets either from our selection or we can connect your iPod / phone to our PA system for you playlist.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 thour before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can you roam around while you perform?

The main band line-up is fixed, however our caller uses a radio headset microphone to call from the dance floor.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and stage lighting system is included in the quote. We usually require a minimum of 3 metres by 5 metres space to perform. Larger lineups require more space.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can learn your special song if we have enough notice. The song has be be appropriate to our band line-up (so Beethoven's 9th Symphony is not possible <grin>)
