"It really stood out to me and took me to a little place of peace" - BBC Introducing (Daniel Pascoe) South West UK-based duo ‘HiddenCoves’ weave together elegant harmonies, reflective lyrics and stories that come from the heart. Pulling from an eclectic taste in music, HiddenCoves takes acoustic folk/pop and makes it their own. Audiences regularly praise the duo for their vocal harmonies, emotive songs and engaging performance. The duet and couple got together in 2020, having known each other since primary school, within a year they discovered their passion for music and by the end of their degrees in 2025, they are getting the show on the road. They have had nearly all their tracks featured on BBC Introducing, with warm reviews from Daniel Pascoe, plus they have played live in Truro Studios for BBC South West. They have also been featured on Source FM and compared to Our Atlantic Roots as “Similar style yet quite distinct” Victoria Dinham, (Source FM). They are Semi-Finalists in the UK Songwriting Competition and have been pitched to Grey’s Anatomy twice. They have opened for artists such as Natalie Holmes and Good Habits, and gig as regularly as time allows. They have 9 tracks released, the latest 3 being self-produced, including their most successful track, ‘What If’. In 2026, they are performing a commissioned song for the Devon County Show, being filmed by ITV and are playing at LakeFest, plus a new single and much more! What do your clients love most about your performances?

People really enjoy our ability to be relaxed and confident on stage. We are praised for our emotional sensibility, and people connect with what we sing and play. People are impressed and moved by our connection, harmonies, and presentableness. And we can also gently blend in if needed.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Countless venues around South Devon, one in London, and a few in Cornwall. We have performed at award-winning pubs (The Cott Inn Dartington), BBC stages, restaurants, weddings, private parties and music venues (THH, The Barrel House Totnes), markets, festivals etc.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

So many: Gregory Alan Isakov, Passenger, Simon and Garfunkel, Noah Kahan, Lizzy McAlpine, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Michael Kiwanuka, Leon Bridges, Harry Styles, PJ Harding, Paper Kites, Paper Planes, Ben Howard, Jack Johnson, John Smith, Mon Rovîa, John Denver, Sting, Ocie Elliot. Some combination of these is roughly our sound.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We performed at the Devon County Show live on ITV West. We wrote a lullaby for the cows and performed it in the shed for the cameras and also at an awards ceremony.

Do you have different line-up options?

We will always have two vocals and a guitar, but a keyboard can be requested as well.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

“We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.”

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course, we charge £100 an hour. Starting thirty minutes after our set finishes. But thirty minutes on each side of our set and anytime in between is all free.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually 30 minutes if the car isn't to far from the 'stage'.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We can do it acoustically, but it needs to be discussed and may incur a higher fee than standard, but we like to be as flexible as possible and accommodate our clients' needs.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

“Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. ”

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All equipment we offer is included in our quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to learn up to three songs, refer to our packages section for details on price.
