Based in London, Sonorité Flute and Harp Duo are one of the UK’s foremost Flute and Harp Duos, with a highly varied and ambitious repertoire including arrangements of works for full orchestra such as Claude Debussy’s Prélude à l'après-midi d'un Faune. As well as both musicians having busy independent freelance careers, they regularly travel across the UK together and abroad showcasing music that spans the world of Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, Folk, World and Contemporary styles in some of the country’s finest venues and concert clubs. Valeria and Daniel’s charismatic stage presence and friendly approach make their recitals welcoming whether you are an avid classical music fan or just somebody who enjoys listening occasionally. Their excellent individual musicianship is enriched by a great chemistry and rapport between each other. As well as performing as a flute and harp duo, they can also perform as a trio (flute, harp, viola) which allows them to expand their repertoire even further and add yet another dimension to their recital programmes. The broad range of sounds and tone colours that can be created from this combination of instruments has enabled some of the most charming chamber repertoire from the early twentieth century to been written for it.
