Hi there! My name is Henri Gaston, and I'm a 21-year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from North Yorkshire. Music has been an essential part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether I’m creating, performing, or simply listening, music is the heart of everything I do. Over the years, it has shaped who I am as an artist and continues to fuel my passion. I perform as a solo artist, usually with an acoustic or electric guitar, and I specialize in soulful covers of songs from all eras—everything from classic hits of the ‘70s to today’s chart-topping tracks. One thing I pride myself on is bringing an energetic and interactive approach to my performances. I truly love connecting with my audience, and I make it a point to engage with them when the setting allows it. It’s that energy exchange that makes live music so special, and I always strive to create a memorable experience for everyone in the room. Although I’ve been performing professionally for almost two years, my love for music began long before I ever took the stage. Writing music and lyrics was something I started doing at a very young age, and it wasn’t long before I fell in love with performing live as well. It’s incredible how both of those passions have shaped me into the artist I am today, even when it’s mostly covers. Each performance teaches me something new and helps me refine my craft. Throughout my journey, I’ve been fortunate enough to have some amazing experiences. One of the most memorable was performing in front of 2,000 people in Manchester. There’s nothing quite like the energy of a big crowd, and it was a moment I’ll never forget. I’ve also had the privilege of headlining a show with my band at Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds, which was a fantastic opportunity to showcase both my original work and my arrangements of well-loved songs. Another standout moment was supporting jazz singer Eve Buckley at The Domino in Leeds, which allowed me to step outside my usual comfort zone and perform alongside incredible talent. In the two years I’ve been performing professionally, I’ve had nothing but great feedback from the venues and clients I’ve worked with. It’s been incredibly rewarding to hear how much people enjoy my performances and how my energy resonates with different crowds. Whether I’m playing at intimate venues or large-scale events, I always put my heart into every show.
