What do your clients love most about your performances?
My clients often comment on my varied and well thought out set list song choices. I love to play songs that people have forgotten they love!
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
The Botanist, Brighton Train Station for Channel 4, The Lights Theatre, Victorious music festival.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
My personal favourite musicians that have influenced me include Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Sade, Gloria Estefan.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Vodaphone corporate party
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
That is not a problem, timings can most often be adjusted to your needs and a quote adjustment can be made if needed.
How much time do you need to set up?
Depending on the event, I always allow between 45 minutes and an hour and a half to get fully set up
If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?
Yes absolutely. I would usually ask to check. If the piano is in full working order and is tuned.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Absolutely! It is often possible to add bespoke songs into the set list to really personalise the music for your wedding or event.
Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?
Yes indeed, I have a fully contained set up.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes absolutely. Please enquire for a quote, as there may be a Chen that I already know a song that isn’t included in my set list. I try to keep my quotes as reasonable and competitive as possible.
