A highly sought after violinist and violist, Helena has performed with Diana Ross, Gregory Porter Liam Gallagher, Little Mix, Craig David and many more. Helena has performed at many high profile events including the Monaco Grand Prix, Idris Elba's wedding in Morocco and many countries such as Ibiza, Mallorca, Italy and the Maldives. Helena frequently improvises with a DJ, owning an electric LED violin. She is also experienced in choreographed electric string shows. Since gaining a first class honors degree at the Royal Northern College of Music, Helena has an active performance and teaching career. She regularly tours around the world with the Chineke! orchestra, performing classical and contemporary repertoire. As a Classical musician, Helena has performed in masterclasses in Salzburg, Krakow, Germany and at the Delft chamber music festival. She has also had masterclasses with Ning Feng and Mauricio Fuks. As an enthusiastic teacher, Helena has won the Leverhulme mentorship award and has trained with the RNCM Young Strings and BBC Philharmonic’s outreach department. Her quartet (Lux Quartet) also created a chamber music outreach project in Greece.

Helena was an absolute dream come true. She was able to accommodate us at really short notice and did all the planning in secret as she was a suprise for my husband. She knew exactly the vibe we were going for and went out of her way to accommodate my song for walking down the aisle. She played beautifully and everyone commented how good she was. Im so, so glad I booked her. We keep watching the videos of her playing She really made the day even more magical and we cant thank you enough. I believe she brought tears to people's eyes when they say her playing as they arrived, and I can believe it. Thank you so much Helena, you were just wonderful, we can't wait to see you play again.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients say that I have an amazing performance presence. I am able to walk around an event whilst playing so I can really interact with the audience/guests!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at exclusive events in Morrocco, Italy and Monaco. I have performed orchestral concerts In California, and perform regularly in London in the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Royal Albert Hall.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I love electric violinists such as Lindsey Stirling who also move/dance whilst they are playing. I love intercating with an audience and reading the room to provide a authentic performance. When training as a classical violinist I loved listening to the older generation of violinist who have that Hollywood sounding violin style! Eg. Itzak Perlman.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have appeared on the Graham Norton Show and Jonathon Ross show, and have recorded with Liam Gallagher and the Sugababes. I have also played with Craig David and The script at the Royal Albert Hall.

Do you have different line-up options?

Acoustic violin and piano. Acousitc violin (with mic) and backing track. Electric violin with backing tracks. Roaming electric violin with backing tracks (wireless).

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to accommodate your time changes to make sure your event is perfect. If your timings change, let me know at your earliest convenience.

How much time do you need to set up?

For an acoustic set I leave 15 minutes for set up For an electric set I leave 45 minutes for a set up and sound check. For a DJ violin set I can plug in and play straight away.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I am happy to take requests for any pieces you would like me to play.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

With an acoustic set yes! With electric, I will require a PA, or can hire one in for your event if preferred.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If there is a song request that I do not know, you can request this at least 2 weeks in advance. If it requested with less than 2 weeks before the event, there is a fee of £30 to require me to have the time to write and learn the piece.
