Helen joined our covers band as a guest sax player for a number of songs. We hadn't been able to get a practice arranged together but Helen was note perfect and the absolute professional. Looking back at the video clips shows how much the guests (and band) enjoyed the session!!

5 stars for me ! Helen connected with the audience straight away and her sax lines were as smooth as the way she mixed with people on the dance floor. I particularly liked her soloing over the Ibiza and disco type tracks... Helen really made the party swing !

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Those I play for love my passion and energy when I'm playing, whether that is jazz and the blues,clasiscal pieces, or pop, or high energy DJ Sax.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Local birthday parties at halls of people's homes/gardens. Pubs. Churches - nice acoustics! Golf Club

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Hard to say, as there are so many. Sax and horn sections: Stan Getz Johnny Hodges Grover Washington Candy Dulfer Spyrogyra Tower of Power Nubya Garcia Leo P Clarinet Emma Johnson

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Within reason, a small change in timings, say by half an hour, is usually manageable. Please keep me posted if you think there is a likelihood of change on the day. I would like to chat about how to manage any change, so that your event runs well :-)

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can provide additional music on my iPad/iPhone/laptop that is in keeping with my sets. Just add that to the total time you need me for and I will adjust the price accordingly.

How much time do you need to set up?

1 hour just to rule out any gremlins. But usually less than that.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I am very happy to chat with you about the kind of music you need to that the event runs well for you. My set lists are carefully curated for content, my instruments and timing and I'd be glad to share those with you. If you have a special piece of music you'd like to be pale, we can talk about that possibility.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I'd be glad to talk to you about a special piece of music you'd like performed but there would be an additional notional price, say of £30, to support the time I would need to rehearse the music.
