A young harpist based in central Scotland

Hannah is a young harpist studying at the RCS juniors’s and also attending a music school in Glasgow. She began learning Clarasach at the age of five, graduating onto pedal harp at the start of her second year in secondary school. She currently studies with Sharron Griffiths and has played with many orchestras around scotland, including the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, Edinburgh youth orchestra and west schools of Scotland orchestra. She has done several weddings over the past two years. In November this year she will be auditioning for places in undergraduate courses around the UK to prepare for a degree in performance.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That’s perfectly fine, as long as I know at least a day in advance.

How much time do you need to set up?

Around 20 minutes. Same goes for packing up.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

If the weather is bad i.e. extremely rainy or extremely sunny. I will need to be under shelter in order to play as the instrument is very valuable. I need no electronic equipment as my instrument is

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes I would be happy to learn any piece upon request, as long as I know in advance so I can prepare it.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in several concert halls, and I have done weddings in Dundas castle, performed in the city halls in Dunfermline, Greyfirars kirk in Edinburgh and others!!
