I’m Hannah, a classically trained cellist based in Dorset and Oxfordshire. I have a Masters and Undergraduate in Music from Oxford University and now perform with top UK orchestras as my day job. I adore playing solo cello with piano backing tracks at events covering a huge range of genre, from Bach to Benson Boone! Playing at weddings is my fave - I’m such a romantic and love to do everything possible to make your day the most memorable for you and your guests, from colour coordinating in gorgeous glam to making special arrangements of songs for you to walk down the aisle to. My act is so versatile - it can be calm and acoustic straight to party time! I cover a total range of music: from totally classical to Bridgerton style pop song covers there really will be a song for everyone. A bit more about me: I graduated in 2024 so have been freelancing for about a year. In July 2025 I performed at the BBC Proms (on TV!) which was a huge highlight of my career so far. I love this as my job and can’t wait to share it with you on your special day. Many people admire my reliability which I take extremely seriously, as well as professionalism and friendliness. While I may still only be young, I have been in this business since I can remember and am very comfortable liaising with events teams and clients to make sure everything runs smoothly for you.

Hannah played at our celebration last weekend and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. In the build-up, she was always quick to reply and communication was easy and reassuring. My wife and I were so happy we booked her, as her performance provided grace and elegance to the occasion. She is a superb cellist with a huge repertoire of classical and contemporary (pop) music. All our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed the music and repeatedly complimented Hannah's skills as a musician. If I organised another party, I would definitely book her again. Thank you, Hannah - you really made our celebration feel special.

Hannah played at our party this weekend and it was just divine. She was so clear and easy to communicate with, flexible and knew I could trust her entirely on the day! The music was such a hit with guests from acoustic Olivia Rodrigo to some easy listening classical everyone loved it. I would highly recommend her for any event.

We had a celebration last month and Hannah was performing - we loved the pop songs with acoustic piano backing tracks and we could request songs too which guests loved. She was so good about making sure the volume was just right for our venue and flexible with timings for speeches etc. Communication was very easy, she was quick to respond to every email. I would thoroughly recommend her for any party or wedding!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

It’s so unique.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Cliveden House, Compton Acres, Pennsylvania Castle, Nutley Farm, various churches.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I love pop music and showing it in a totally new light - who thought Olivia Rodrigo would sound so good on cello?!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

While it wasn’t me alone, I performed at the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall in July 2025.

Do you have different line-up options?

I perform with a variety of different style of backing tracks from acoustic piano covers to pop karaoke hits - you choose the vibe!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am usually fairly flexible and happy to accommodate the best I can. I always lease about timings thoroughly in all communications.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually arrive 30-45mins before my performance time to allow for a sound check while guests aren’t around.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely, in fact I encourage it! Once you’ve picked your favourites I can perform a selection of others that fit the atmosphere for that event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn’t included in a set list, I am more than happy to arrange it specially for you. There is an additional fee of £10 per extra piece to account for rehearsal time.
