Hannah Jayne is a dynamic performer who connects to her audience with sensitivity and authenticity. With twenty-six years of musical experience and training as a multi-instrumentalist, she is able to master diverse styles of music, creating unique instrumental arrangements, cultivating ornamentation and nuance from rock-pop genres, for any occasion. With a focus on emotive musical phrasing and authentic rich tone, her classical fusion of violin Rock ‘N’ Pop instrumentals will create the perfect musical backdrop. Hannah’s emotional connection to the violin was ignited as a five year old child; feeling instantly drawn to the violin through its gothic shape, expressive, passionate tone and unique use of the players balance and movement. The fully immersive experience of playing the violin, from the emotional connection, to the healthy relationship between mind, body and soul, have played key roles in Hannah’s musical journey and love for her instrument. Hannah specialized in music performance, graduating with a BA(Hons) Music degree at York. St John University. As a multi-instrumentalist, Hannah has worked with musicians across a spectrum of genres, from orchestral players, to rock bands; brass bands to musical theater productions. During her final year, she was invited to perform at the University’s faculty of arts graduate showcase of creative excellence. Continuing her musical studies at The University of York, Hannah graduated with a Community Music Masters. Although Hannah’s music education mainly comprised of classical training, her eclectic musical tastes included genres from pop to heavy metal. Throughout her studies, Hannah regularly played at folk festivals and private concerts with ‘Union Central’, a Yorkshire based, bluegrass tribute band, of Alison Krauss and Union Station. Post academia, Hannah has played professionally as a freelance violinist, and as a valued member of numerous string quartets and duets from North Yorkshire. Hannah regularly performs at events across the UK providing bespoke arrangements of pop and soft rock genres. Hannah has worked with HMS Studios, recording the emotionally engaging soundtrack for the Polish short film ‘Persistence’, which later won awards at the Los Angeles film festival; and as a session musician for Silver Bear Studios in Harrogate, recording string parts for an upcoming British heavy metal album. With a passion for alternative musical genres, and experience working as a multi-instrumentalist, Hannah’s diverse love of music enables her to create bespoke musical backdrops.

Hi Hannah, I can only say good things about you. You're outstanding performer and a musician, you produce such an amazing sound, so pure and beautiful. We enjoyed listening when we were waiting for the wedding ceremony to start the other day. I felt I was at Wigmore Hall for the quality of the sound, while my partner's mum was singing along the tunes, enjoying herself. Music for everybody Added bonus, you're such a lovely person with a happy face, the bride and groom told me you made choosing their music list so easy, as you accepted anything they asked. I was so proud to have recommended you when everyone was so complimentary to you.
