We're a professional live-function band that specialise in performing an eclectic mix of floor-filling anthems. We're based in Nottingham and provide live music at wedding receptions, corporate functions, bars/clubs, birthdays, celebrity nights, proms and any special event you can think of! We pride ourselves on our live sound and offer an array of anthems in different genres such as Rock, Indie, Pop and Dance through the generations of '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s to present-day hits. Our aim is to get people up singing and dancing their hearts out! We are a four-piece full band consisting of Vocals, Keys, Lead Guitar, Bass and Drums. We also provide a DJ service. No need to hire a separate DJ as we have this covered already! What's included: • Four-piece professional band • 2x 60mins live band music • High quality sound system and lighting • Entertainment until the end of the night • An eclectic mix of songs from our playlist • Separate acoustic songs (piano, acoustic guitar) • We can play a few of your song choices if requested • Fully insured • PAT tested • Optional DJ service

Couldn’t have wished for a better band for our club party at the Walton Hall Hotel, Wellesbourne. Half Cut gave it their all - vocals and instruments as good as many of the numbers they covered, a varied play list and they gauged the atmosphere and kept the dance floor full, interacted with everyone and their final number (without any prompting from us) was perfect for a load of quirky petrol-heads. They’d obviously taken time to find out what we were all about In addition to all of this, band frontman John took time to get in touch beforehand to reassure that they would do everything to help make our annual bash a success. Can’t recommend Half Cut, four talented and lovely chaps, highly enough.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed in a multitude of venues across the country from manor houses, bars and clubs, hotels, and festival stages. Wherever the event may be held we've been there.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Muse, Take That, Sting, Elton John, Queen

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The World Snooker Championships after party. Celebrity events Kerry Katona.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

The singer is always the person you see in the video :)

Do you have different line-up options?

We do not have a different line-up. The four-piece band is what you hire.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £250

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1.5 to 2 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 5m by 3m space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you.
