What do your clients love most about your performances?

Accepted Answer

The audiences love the emotion that I put into a song, especially as I am a soul singer where you need to put that soul into these songs where the emotion feel of the performance can really be used to connect with the audience. They also love the fact that I can cover very popular well known songs that were the classics from yesteryear.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Accepted Answer

I have sang at several open mics before, and I've also had a booking at a popular London venue for new uprising artists called 'Underground Sound'. I have also performed at a wedding before as well, where I've had to sing popular love soul songs from yesteryear that include the 70s motown era and 90s and early 00s. RnB!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Accepted Answer

I am inspired by the artists who actually have been through a lot including things in their lives where they can talk about certain experiences and be able to almost write a story of this in their songs with that emotion that is needed to actually feel the song. I think those kind of songs help us as humanity as a way of expressing our feelings of emotions.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I would say I performed at a popular London gig called 'London Underground', it was a great gig as there were many talent aspiring musicians singing there showcasing their potential and I got to sing some of my originals there. I have also performed and sang some very popular classic soul songs at a wedding as well!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Accepted Answer

I always try my best to be as flexible as I can to accommodate the itinerary of your event, and that it runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

I do not provide my own equipment so would need the venue to provide their own professional microphone and amplifier to amplify the sound of the backing track as well as the microphone sound. So if that's already set up, I won't need any time to set up. Perhaps if there's a private room or area before the event starts to do some vocal exercises.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted according to what I feel most comfortable to sing and also learning from what works best so that the guests can have an amazing time. However, I am definitely fine to chat with yourselves to find what works for your event

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance I already know some of it and might take only a little amount of time to learn it properly. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn, then I would be fine to do this for you. There is a fee of £40 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
