At 16 received a place at Junior Trinity music before going onto study violin at Birmingham Conservatoire under Nick Fallowfield and Suzanne Stanzeleit to obtain a 2:1. She then continued her studies to do a PGcert in instrumental performance under Suzanne Stanzleit and obtained the Postgraudate performance prize. She regularly performed with the CBSO youth orchestra and the Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra at Birmingham Town and Symphony Hall. She also received professional violinist coaching from Pavel Fischer, Catherine Yates and performed Mendelssohn's Octet at Birmingham Midland institute. Since then Harriette has done a variety of engagements including weddings, birthdays, concerts, funerals and charity events. She loves playing and bringing joy to her customers.

Harriette played at our wedding in Butley Priory and was superb! She has a wonderful tone and I love listening back to the recordings from our ceremony. We can especially recommend her folk medley including Danny Boy and Bach’s Gavotte and Rondeau No 3 in E major.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I have a unique and beautiful sound and also I am flexible with genres. I love all music, in every style and it is always an honour being asked to play at an event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Cadogan Hall, Birmingham Midlands Institute, Birmingham Town Hall and Symphony Hall, Greenwich Peacock room, Butley Priory, Brighton Town Hall Council chambers, St Thomas's church and Bishop's Adult College. I have also toured in Europe playing at numerous venues with a semi professional orchestra.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Andre Rieu, Clean Bandit, Nicola Benedetti and Nigel Kennedy.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Playing at Symphony Hall several times with CBSO youth orchestra and Birmingham Conservatoire symphony orchestra was an amazing experience and one I'll never forget. Sometimes hundreds were watching and it was incredible.

Do you have different line-up options?

I can play acoustically with PA for backing tracks, or acoustically with pick up amplification and PA or electric violin with PA.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up 1- 1.5 hours before the performance time if it is possible. As soon as PA is set up I shall put on a free playlist to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for the live performance.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes you can, but happily can chat through a set list via a free zoom call before your event. Also can send you a demo of a special song you'd like to have that might not be on my set list.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring my own instrument to play acoustically and a PA system if I need amplification depending on venue.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in on my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I'm happy to do this for you and its included in the price. Any additional songs from there would be £30 extra to take into account rehearsal times, backing tracks and arrangement costs.
