BIOGRAPHY Greg is a freelance session drummer and percusionist based in Liverpool, but easily accessible in Oxford and London. He has recently completed the BA Hons Degree In Music at the prestigous Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Co-founded by Sir Paul Mc'Cartney. Greg is well known for his energetic and passionate performances as a drummer and percussionist in the North West of England. Growing up with a semi professional drummer as a father, Greg has always shown a passion for live music. From the age of 4 he had his first junior drum kit playing along to his favourite songs on the radio, and at the age of 9 years old, Greg would be invited up on stage at private events to play in his father’s 7 piece soul band. Since then Greg has gone on to achieve an Extended Diploma in Music Performance from Oxford College. Which then led him to securing a place at the prestigious Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts (Lipa) Co-founded by Sir Paul McCartney. Since Living in the Cultural City of Liverpool Greg has developed a wealth of musical knowledge. Whilst playing Drums, Percussion, Guitar, Bass and Piano, he has chosen to pursue a career as a session player and teacher in Drums and Percussion.. In the past three years Greg has played with many original artists, function bands and live DJ’s around the country at weddings, corporal events, and more. Even at the young age of 22 Greg already has 4 successful UK tours under his belt as a band member, playing in top end venues in cities around the UK such as, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol, Southampton, Oxford, Sheffield and Liverpool. However his most recent tour was in Spain, playing for Warner Brothers artist Maika Makovski, as her session drummer and percussionist, for the June 2015 tour in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, and Tarragona. And since then he has been working with China Crisis and The Farm on various gigs around the UK.
