Green Time Folk are taking event bookings in and around London with a primary line up of fiddle, harp, and bodhrán, with the option to add guitar and whistles. They were formed in 2019 during their time spent studying for their music degrees in Greenwich, London. Greg, Gregor and Maria enjoyed meeting up each week to play tunes from Ireland and Scotland and have since played for audiences all over London and beyond. Fantastic music for our wedding. Maria and the guys were brilliant, just what we wanted. We had lots of interest from our guests who asked for the band’s info. Communication with Maria was reassuring and we would highly recommend

We booked Green Time Folk to play at our wedding reception in East London and they were totally amazing! They played two one-hour sets in the garden during pre- and post-dinner drinks and the atmosphere they provided was superb. They did an incredible job of matching the mood of our guests as the evening progressed. So many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they loved the music and the fact that it made the atmosphere better than any wedding they had ever been to! We would have no hesitation in recommending Green Time Folk - in fact we would happily book them again for a future event as we enjoyed listening to them so much!

Green Time Folk were absolutely fantastic. They provided the perfect soundtrack for our wedding day during canapés. Maria was always quick to respond to any inquiries and questions. We've received so many compliments from our guests, they truly helped to make the afternoon so special. Thanks so much!

What a delight! Maria (harp) and Gregory (violin) performed 2 x 30-minute sets for a birthday party. Punctual, friendly, organised. The music was fantastic, playing requests as well as pieces they'd chosen to fit around a specific theme. Communication was excellent, prompt responses and accurate planning. I'd definitely book them again. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you both!

You don’t often see dancing in the aisles at a classical concert, but when Greg, Gregor and Maria performed to a classical audience at the Semley Festival 2022 that was what happened. People got up and began to dance spontaneously, so infectious was the rhythm and energy of the gaelic folk tunes. We were thrilled to have booked them, and can’t wait to have them again.
