Graham Piano

Started as a semi pro in 1972........ Mid 70's thru to late 80's I played and sang in local Showbands playing pops of the day and ballroom strict tempo. From the early 90's to 2001 I was the piano player in a trad jazz band & a keyboard/vocalist in a covers function band. I had 12 years of short tours to the Netherlands with the trad jazz band, mainly to the Breda jazz festival. I started a 60's 70's tribute band (Same Old Faces) in 2001 (the wigs, platforms and glitz was great) and to expand our audience, I persuaded the band to venture into swing jazz and we began an alter ego as the MSG Collective. Both bands were very successful playing festivals and private functions thru to the end of 2016, when we decided to call a halt. I then started my solo venture and here I am....... I'm focused on lounge style entertainment at present and have a repertoire of classic 'jazz' numbers, my own reworked versions of 60's/70's classic pop and my own compositions. In the future I may venture into a more lively approach....maybe with some self crafted backing tracks....may be a solo glam rock act, but at present I'm happy where I am......
