The Goldsworth Gerry were great for my party last Saturday. I had the party in a hall and they had to set up around caterers, decorators (lots of balloons!), and people going in and out whilst they were setting up their equipment on the stage. They were easy to communicate with and very helpful when i had a couple of dilemmas about timings through the evening. I wanted music which would encourage everyone to get up and dance and they certainly delivered! Lots of friends told me how much they loved the band and the music and felt that they sounded extremely authentic, whatever number they were playing. Thank you so much for making my party such a big success, I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Best wishes, Sue

Goldsworth Gerry played at our wedding on Saturday and were absolutely fantastic. Their vocals are great (massive range) and their play list had the dance floor bouncing all evening (even with England playing their quarter final match on the TV in the clubhouse!) So many people commented on how good the band was and Martin even indulged one of our more enthusiastic air guitar players with a duet. We can’t recommend them highly enough! We booked Goldsworth Gerry for my 40th birthday party and couldn't be happier. From the start, communication was brilliant — they sent over a song list in advance so we could have a say in what was played, which was a really nice touch. On the night, our timings shifted which I know was not ideal but they were nice about it which took a lot of stress off. Initially everyone was very happy standing around and listening but within a short time the dance floor filled up and pretty much stayed that way. They're great musicians and by the end of the night I had a number of guests coming up to say how much they enjoyed the music. If you're looking for a live band who are professional, easy to work with, good value, play some classic tunes and genuinely get a party going, I'd book Goldsworth Gerry- they were great.

All prices include:1. set-up and pack-down time. 2. pre-recorded music provided for up to 1 hour prior to our performance start time and in the break(s), if required. 3. all music equipment, PA system and lighting provided (PAT tested and insured). 4. Public Liability Insurance up to £1million. 5. travel costs up to 25 miles each way. 6. choice of the songs for the setlist from our repertoire, should you wish to. 7. learning of 1 special song for first dance (wedding events only). These prices are a guide only. Quotes will be calculated based on the type of event, location and any other specific requirements. PLEASE NOTE: For any performances over 1 hour, a minimum of a 15 min break is required. A performance duration of 2 hours would typically be 2 x 50 min sets with a 20 min break A performance duration of 3 hours would typically be 3 x 50 min sets with 2 x 15 min breaks

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Absolutely! What you see in the video is 100% what you will get on the night!

Do you have different line-up options?

No - we believe we offer a full band sound with just the 2 of us.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are happy to be flexible with timings - providing they still fit in with our schedule - please just let us know with as much notice as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we can play pre-recorded music (from your own playlist if you wish) through our PA for up to 1 hour prior to performance + between sets. This is free of charge. If you'd like music after our performance, we can discuss this for an additional fee. This is not strictly a DJ service, however, so you and your guests won't be able to request specific songs.

How much time do you need to set up?

A minimum of 1 hour is required. A suitable amount of time for Goldsworth Gerry to load-in their equipment (from vehicles into the performing area) should also be considered. If the venue has difficult access, parking problems, lots of stairs etc, it's useful for us to be made aware of this in advance, so we can adjust our arrival time accordingly.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes - we will be happy for you to tailor-make your perfect set-list.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes - we are fully self-contained and bring all our own musical equipment, PA system and lighting (which is all insured and PAT tested) so you don't have to worry about any of that and it is all included in the price. Generally, we can fit into spaces 9 feet wide x 6 feet deep (approx 2.75 metres x 1.75 metres) and above.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely! If there is a special song you would like us to perform that is not in our repertoire, we are more than happy to learn it for you. Please be sure to let us know the song of your choice at least 1 month before the event to give us time to learn it - plus, there is a fee of £80 for this service to cover our rehearsal costs.
