Graham Vincent is a well known folk fiddle player and singer who has performed at festivals including Glastonbury, Sidmouth, Oxford Folk Weekend and many others, many radio appearances and is well know as the voice and fiddle of "Mitchell and Vincent". Chris Edmunds (Teasing the Cat/Zeffe/Somerstep Clog) particularly enjoys playing for dance. Chris ran workshops at Sidmouth Folk Festival for many years. Plays folk in many styles, including Morris and traditional step dancing. Aside from Folk, Chris has worked for the Royal Ballet School and been an award-winning Musical Director. Glorishears play traditional tunes and songs from around the British Isles and Europe with the occasional foray across the pond. Why "Glorishears"? It's a fab Morris tune and the title is a corruption of "Glorious Years". Expect slow and fast, melancholy and joy!

Quite simply, two ‘consummate musicians’ with an unbridled passion for their music.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

If you just want a fiddle player for background music that mey be possible depending on the nature of the occasion.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We generally will only be doing one gig per day, so there is normally some flexibility.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Generally we are working with small specialist amplifiers for acoustic instruments, not really suitable for a DJ set.

How much time do you need to set up?

30mins min.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We will be happy to consider any special requests you may have, but do need to know a few weeks in advance in order to give the best performance.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We generally perform acoustically or with a small amplification setup that is included. We do not provide any lights.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We will be happy to consider any special requests you may have, but do need to know a few weeks in advance in order to give the best performance.
