GlitterBang is not your average professional high-energy modern party band. This male AND female vocal - led band LOVE to play music! They love to play music for you, and they love to play music with each other. Available for festivals, weddings, corporate events, birthdays and private functions, their main motivation is to get you and your buddies on the dance floor with classic favourites, old school tunes and top 40 party hits.. They play EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING. London, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Southampton, Manchester, Cambridge, Norwich, Brighton, all the way to France and Italy and more.. oh yeah, and they’re cream of the crop. Not just another cheesy cover band, they all have University Degrees in Music, and that’s all they do - nothing else. When you book with GlitterBang, everything is easy. Once we have a chat with you and find out exactly what you want, we will touch base as little or as often as you want leading up to your event, and run the night so seamlessly you won’t believe it. We do functions every day, and book months, sometimes years in advance, so we know how to make a night flow. We can provide ceremony music, an acoustic roaming set for your guests in the garden, jazz sets and basically any style you need. We supply the PA and lighting at no extra cost. We also provide a DJ playlist service in between sets too, at no cost to you! You can save hundreds of pounds by going direct with GlitterBang instead of running through and agency. We take out the middle man and you speak directly with the band. Our members speak French, Portuguese and Italian, so you’re covered for your destination events. Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.”

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard 5 piece line-up is as follows: Vocals, Guitar, Keys, Bass, Drums. We also have a 6 piece option that includes Saxophone, and a 4 piece option of Vocals, Bass, Drums, Guitar for smaller budgets.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a [laylistDJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this until midnight for free too!

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. Of course if you're getting married we will learn your first dance song for free!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 4m by 6m space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you for free.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The sheer energy and musicianship of the team onstage is mesmerising. We dress up too in plenty of glitter, sequins, lycra and a splash of vinyl to make it super fun - oh and don't forget the inflatable guitars!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Our singer Mandy performs at the prestigious Savoy Hotel every Sunday Evening - pop in and say hello and chat over your event. As a band we have been all over the country, inside, outside - and to exoti destinations in Europe and as far as India!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We love, disco, funk and soul- from Aretha Franklin to Kings Of Leon, if it makes people dances and puts a smile on the faces of your freinds and family- we love it.
