Giovanni Re

Born in Palermo,Sicily in 1981, Giovanni grew up in Baucina a small Village near Palermo , He began playing Trumpet in the Community band when was 11 years old . Later , he studied trumpet in Palermo at the Music Conservatory “ V .Bellini” at Present a professional trumpet player and educator with a strong background in orchestral performance and brass instruction. Formerly the Principal Trumpet of a symphony orchestra in Italy, I now work as a freelance musician, performing across a wide range of genres and ensembles. With years of experience in both performance and education, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for music. I currently teach trumpet and brass for Buckingham Music Service and have previously worked with Richmond Music Trust, Hertfordshire Music Service, and as a self-employed tutor in several independent schools in the Richmond Borough. I also served as a Deputy Teacher at the Junior Department of Trinity Laban Conservatoire. In addition to my professional work, I have a keen interest in sports such as tennis, rugby, horse riding, and football. I’m also an enthusiastic cook, always excited to explore recipes and cuisines from around the world. Friendly, dedicated, and always eager to grow, I bring passion, energy, and commitment to every opportunity—on stage or in the classroom.
