Getta & Fabri are a dynamic acoustic duo featuring intricate, groovy guitar work and beautiful soulful vocals. Both being fresh graduates from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, they are ready to deliver a soulful twist on favourites from all eras and genres, offering chilled out acoustic music for corporate events, weddings, parties and more. Having both played at multiple legendary venues in London such as The Islington Assembly Hall, The Jazz Cafe and The Half Moon, has given them the skills and confidence to capture the attention and entertain large audiences with an ease. The duo's wide repertoire filled with energy, covering music from every genre, mostly focusing on Soul, R&B, Pop and Funk, makes them perfect for casual background music at a bar, a reception, or even a party where people want to let go and dance. Taking on songs from well known legends such as Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Aretha Franklin as well as covering contemporary music legends such as Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Adele and more, Getta and Fabri are fully prepared to offer an unforgettable performance, bursting with positive energy and love for music!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are full of energy and good vibes, always bringing a smile to our client's faces as well as performing songs that no-one can resist singing along to!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed in multiple wedding settings- gardens, mansions, churches, family homes etc. We have also performed at various pubs and legendary venues in London such as The Islington Assembly Hall, The Jazz Cafe and The Half Moon, Hard Rock Cafe. We have also performed in various corporate buildings such as schools, offices, community centres etc.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Getta's vocals are influenced by Whitney Houston, Sarah Vaughan, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Hudson, Aretha Franklin. Fabri's guitar playing is influenced by Steve Lukather, The Beatles, Jack White, Jimi Hendrix etc. This combination of influences creates the, luscious, groovy sound that Getta and Fabri are known for!

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, (acoustic/electric) Guitar. We also have an option of 2 Vocals, (acoustic/electric) Guitar.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are always as flexible as possible to help everything run smoothly. In the case of timings changing, just let us know as soon as you can so we can accommodate to any changes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes! We offer this service for free in between and just before the sets. If you'd like this service after our final set, we can provide this for an additional £75 for an agreed amount of time.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before our performance time. As soon as we have finished setting up the PA and sound checking, we provide a free playlist of your choice to set the atmosphere. The setup time (including soundcheck) is usually 45 minutes to 1 hour. If need be, we are happy to set up earlier, just let us know.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We can move around 3m from where the PA is set as the guitar and microphone are connected with cables.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We are happy to discuss the set list with you and take on any recommended songs if necessary to make your evening unforgettable!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes! For events of over 150 people or for certain bespoke events, a sound technician and PA system will need to be hired separately.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a special song you'd like us to perform, we are happy to do this for you. If you let us know what the special songs are two weeks prior to the event, we do not charge extra. If you tell us later, there is a fee of £30 per song for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
