Jack Kelly is a Cheshire-based musician who performs live acoustic covers for events such as weddings and restaurant live sessions. His setlist consists of a range of popular songs, predominantly from the 21st century, performed on an acoustic Fender Sonoran, Rode microphone and TC-Helicon harmoniser to create covers that sound laid-back, relaxing and are completely live. "Jack regularly performs a three-hour acoustic evening set at the restaurant I own. His laid-back style creates a fantastic atmosphere that blends perfectly with the setting, and never feels overpowered or forced. Jack was excellent throughout the set. It was very laidback and relaxing, as promised. Everything was COVID safe as well. Jack set up an hour before playing by himself and guests were easily able to stay 4+ metres away, and still hear it all perfectly throughout the gardens. Even when we met with Jack prior to the event, we asked him to wear a mask and he did which was very reassuring. Absolutely superb to be able to have music at our wedding from such a talented musician.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

How laidback they are. Song choice and volume is something that I think is so important (and often overlooked). People don't book me because they want to see the Jack show. They book me to enhance an event, to create an atmosphere that's relaxed and easygoing and calming, at the same time as being impressive and entertaining.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am flexible and will do everything I can to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change please just let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

It usually takes me around half an hour to set up.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course. If there's certain songs you want to make sure I play, then let me know, or if there's any I should avoid! Also, if you want me to try and learn a specific song or a song by a specific artist, then please let me know before the event and I will try my best to accommodate.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am more than happy to accept song requests prior to an event, and if I like them I often keep them in my set for future events!
