Georgie Wells and her band were a fantastic addition to our 2018 Women in Financial Advice Awards. They provided background jazz for our drinks reception, creating a warm and glamorous atmosphere for our guests’ arrival. After our awards ceremony they did another set, this time responding to the celebratory mood, doing a set of up-beat jazz and pop covers. They had people dancing in the lobby! They brought all their own equipment and organised this themselves with the venue, they were absolutely no hassle to myself and were a pleasure to work with, I hope to book them again in the future.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know. However if there is a huge change in time, e.g. from daytime to evening, this may be difficult last minute.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

absolutely, i can provide a playlist of songs that won't be played by me/ the band.

How much time do you need to set up?

it takes 30 minutes maximum to set up, but it is useful to arrive an hr early to suss out where to be placed and logistical things like plug sockets and where extension leads can go.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. Also, if you let me know in advance of any song requests I can arrange them for the band.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

yes, all we need is a couple of plug sockets.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
