George played at our work Christmas party and was brilliant from start to finish. His voice and musicianship were excellent, and he created a really relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that suited the event perfectly. He was professional, easy to work with, and clearly very experienced performing live. Everyone commented on how good he was, and he added something really special to the evening. I’d happily recommend George for parties, events, or private bookings.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love the warm, soulful atmosphere I create, my versatile song selection, and the personal touch I bring to every event. I read the room carefully, take requests where possible, and make sure guests feel relaxed, entertained and involved.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at weddings, private events, corporate functions, pubs and music venues across the UK. Recent performances include wedding receptions, garden parties, Christmas events and themed parties, as well as live band shows with Family Jools.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My style is influenced by Elton John, The Beatles, Neil Young and Bill Withers I blend classic songwriting with soulful vocals and acoustic arrangements to create a timeless sound.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I've performed at Glastonbury Festival, SXSW (USA), The New Colossus Festival (New York), and at a range of weddings, private events, pubs and live music venues across the UK, as well as having high-profile film soundtrack features with my band Family Jools.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Timings can usually be adjusted. Just let me know as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate any changes to your schedule. Minor timing changes on the day are no problem.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I specialise in live performance rather that DJ services. I do not provide a DJ or iPod playlist service, but I'm happy to work around your event schedule and liaise with your venue or DJ if needed.

How much time do you need to set up?

I typically require 45-60 minutes to set up my keyboard, guitar and PA equipment and complete a soundcheck. I will confirm arrival and setup times with your venue ahead of the event to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes - you're welcome to choose from my set list in advance. I am also happy to discuss special requests where possible to help personalise your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes - I bring my own guitar, keyboard (if required) microphones and PA system. If your venue has a piano available, I’m happy to use it. If the venue already has a PA or microphone system for speeches, I'm also happy to connect into their system instead. I'll confirm any technical details with your venue ahead of the event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes - I am happy to learn special song requests in advance. This is offered as an optional add on service (subject to suitability) Once booked, I'll confirm details and preparation time with you.
