I play violin to an advanced level. I currently play in Suffolk One string trio and South Suffolk Youth Orchestra as principal second, as well as holding a chair in Suffolk Youth Orchestra and Trianon Symphony Orchestra. I also give recitals, having recieved a commendation in Hadleigh Young Musician 2015. I look forward to building a potential career within music. I play a 1945 French violin of unknown origin, however it was brought in by Boosey and Hawkes in 1945 and then brought in by Royal Military where it was then played in one of their many orchestras across the world. A beautiful instrument which sings beautifully across its range, in particular the G and E strings sound particularly warm and bright.
