Gennaro was absolutely incredible! We cannot thank him enough for making our wedding day so special. He kindly offered to stay beyond his booking so we could use his speakers when ours weren’t working for the speeches — such a thoughtful gesture. All our friends and family commented on how lovely he was. We would 10000% recommend booking him! Gennaro provided all the relevant documentation our venue required and was fantastic at staying in touch throughout. Thank you once again Gennaro!

I had the pleasure of witnessing Gennaro perform at a summer garden party in Stamford recently. His saxophone playing enhanced the environment wonderfully. Not only is he an excellent musician, but his ability to read the room (or, in this case, the field), was exemplary. One of the attendees decided that she wanted to sing, whereupon Gennaro hopped seamlessly onto guitar and accompanied her perfectly. Having just retired from a 40 year career in the music business, I have seen and heard a lot of instrumentalists across a wide spectrum of styles. Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I get a lot of compliments on my sound. I tend to play tenor saxophone which has a rich sound. Clients do like it when I join in on the dance floor playing to a dance track, but equally enjoy the laid back sound of a smooth saxophone.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at many hotels, halls and clubs, but the largest audience I’ve played in front of was at a concert at Burghley House Stamford. Numbered in the thousands.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

This is a difficult one as I have a lot of music interests from classical, jazz, Motown, ska, dance? Too many artists to list.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed on tv, for the BBC, many years ago. It was prerecorded, but always fun.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I’m quite flexible with timings on the day a slightly later or earlier start is fine. If there’s a large time difference in the run up to the event, then I’ll need to know as soon as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I always have music ready to play in between sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

My set up is around half an hour. As soon as my PA is set up I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for my live performance!”

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, that’s fine. I do keep adding to my play list so happy to chat if you don’t see what you’d like me to play.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own equipment; PA, mics, (lighting if requested) and instruments.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

In short, yes… I may already have it, but not included it in my list. If not, I’ll need to purchase a backing track and the written music. Usually straight forward.
