What can we say other than WOW! We hired Generation Groove to play at our wedding reception and they were incredible! A perfectly personalised set list, awesome party energy, the band were all amazing and Hollys vocals are incredible!! The show traps don’t do them justice!! Holly and the band were very supportive and super easy to deal with and they went above and beyond in supporting our DJ with loan of equipment and set up after they had finished their set. If you’re looking for a band for your party or event we really can not recommend Generation Groove highly enough!! Thanks again guys it was a real pleasure having you there on our special day!!

Generation Groove were amazing from start to finish! The lead singer Holly was so friendly and helpful in all communication in the run up. The band’s playing was absolutely fantastic and really got the party part of our wedding going! Their song list is perfect, covers so many eras and genres, and we requested a song by Queen for our first dance which really brought an individual touch to our wedding reception. Ourselves and many of our guests are professional musicians and everyone commented on the playing and musicianship of each band member. Not only that but such a fun and friendly band who interacted with our crazy dancing and air guitar! Holly has a stunning voice and amazing stage presence. Thank you so much to Generation Groove for playing at our wedding!!!

We had these guys for our work’s Christmas party and they didn’t disappoint, we tend to be a wild lot and they kept up with our pace lol! They are a super talented bunch and not to mention really great people, thank you all for putting up with our madness!! I’d definitely recommend them.

Wedding Package 4 musicians

The Wedding Package includes 2 hours of live music from the band, including a short 15 minute break. A DJ set before starting(should you need this), during the break and for an additional 30 minutes after the band play. Lighting is included, with various colours and effects. We will also learn your first dance should you need this, provided we are given at least 1 month’s notice prior to the event date.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients speak very highly of our front woman, Holly. Not just her incredible vocal ability but her interaction with the crowd is unmatched. The band are really warm people, and take pride in their professionalism. Whether it’s your wedding day or your relatives birthday, it’s so important to us that you are happy.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The band have performed at Après Ski events on touring stints, weddings, functions, birthday, corporate events, pre-game shows, mini festivals. There’s not a venue type we haven’t tried our hand at!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We always perform with our fantastic singer Holly - it’s important to us you get what you paid for. We have musicians who can step in just in case one someone falls ill or is unavailable. Rest assured that the performance will be exactly the same high standard. If in the unlikely event our singer is unable to perform, we will always inform you.

Do you have different line-up options?

Generation Groove performs as a 4 piece band (Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to accommodate any changes and we understand sometimes the timings of these events don’t always go as planned! If you’re aware of any changes prior to the event, do let us know, otherwise we are always flexible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! :) Music will be played from our PA system before and between our sets on the night to warm up guests for the show and to keep the party going in between the sets! If you need music playing after the set, let us know - this can be arranged.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 60 to 80 minutes before the performance starts to allow time for a sound check. (This can also be flexible) As soon as our speaker system is set up we can provide a free playlist service to get guests warmed up!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Although we don’t apply a policy whereby you can select the whole show, if there are any songs you would definitely like to hear or not hear from our repertoire, just let us know in advance.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, no hidden fees here. The PA and lighting is all included in price.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! It’s likely we already know your request, but as long as you let us know your favourites before the show, we’d be happy to play as many as we can.
