About / Biography I'm an experienced solo singer/guitarist performer, playing popular covers from the 40's to the present.

I'm an experienced solo singer/guitarist performer, playing popular covers from the 40's to the present. I perform with accompanying backing tracks, but can perform acoustically if this is preferred! I have gigged extensively the past few years, playing every type of pub, bar, hotel, restaurant, retirement/ care home as well as many private party functions. I have specifically performed in areas around London, Hitchin, Welwyn, St Albans, Ware, and Stevenage in Hertfordshire to popular acclaim. I regularly perform for private functions as the main supplier of singing entertainment for the Mill Green Golf Club for the Miller's Annual Awards Ceremony and their Summer Miller Cup Dinner Dance. Reed Cricket Club, Hash 100 Runners Club Xmas Dinner Dance, Codicote Tennis Club I am a resident singer for the Horse & Groom Pub in Hatfield for their popular Beer & Gin Festivals, and the Galleon Pub in Wolverton Milton Keynes, and a regular returning act for The Hightown Club in Luton. I am happy to travel distances further afield, with enough notice and for an adjusted fee to cover additional time and petrol costs. Whether it be to provide some gentle background music whilst your guests mingle, or to liven up your occasion and get your party going with upbeat popular sing along covers. I have a vast wide ranging repertoire from across the decades that can cover any almost any type of crowd, age group and occasion from 40's to the present. If given enough notice and within reason, I can play special song requests. I can perform acoustically for quieter occasions or with backing tracks for a more busier upbeat party occasions. I have my own high end Column Array PA system - (LD Systems MAUI 28 G2 Column PA System) Ideal for smaller performing areas but still packing a punch for larger venues, sound and lighting equipment. I am fully insured for Public liability insurance and am up to date with PAT testing. I can play 3x40 mins or 2x60 mins sets or be flexible on how you want me to perform them. Whatever may suit your occasion? My fee starts from £150 (local Pub/Club) or £250 (Private Function) dependant on your requirements and distance from my home postcode. I can provide appropriate background music at the beginning, interval and end of the performance via Macbook If you need any more information and want to discuss your arrangements in further detail, then please get in touch ! I booked Gavin for my 65th plus retirement plus wedding anniversary party and he was brilliant, what a talent. He did 3 x 40 minute sessions, starting as just background music as requested and had people dancing in the aisles by his third session. Can highly recommend Gavin and wouldn't hesitate to book him again myself. Thanks for a first class performance Gavin, the party wouldn't have been the same without you. 10/10

Another great evening in the pavilion. The feedback from villagers who had not seen him before was 100% positive. They could not believe that it was only him and not a full band they were listening to, which is what you get. His performances never fail to entertain and get people dancing and singing along. I will be booking him again next year.
