Gary Cunningham is a 20 year old Musician, M.D and Composer from Billericay, Essex. He has been playing Piano for 15 years, singing for 6 and composing for 4. Throughout his career, Gary has been a part of various bands as well as his solo performances. He started his musical career seriously when he became part of a band named Ten Point Too whom he was with for many years until his departure in 2011. After his departure from Ten Point Too, Gary began his solo career by becoming a restaurant pianist at The Ivory Rooms. He also started to take part in various open mic nights (notably Boombox Essex Live Lounge). In 2014 he found his way back into the band circuit, deciding to form a function band named "The 45's" whom he is still with today, they have various private party gigs coming up over the coming months. After completing his first UK Tour with The Signatures Northern Soul Band in 2017, Gary has now become a freelance session musician and entertainer currently working with Simon Densley, Richard O'Brien and Mabel Rogers.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just let me know as soon as possible and I will adjust my schedule accordingly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of Course! Just let me know what songs you'd like and I can create a playlist for you to keep the music going during my break.

How much time do you need to set up?

I am usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the event dependent on the need of a PA.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Certainly, if the Piano is in tune and works fine then I am more than happy to use it.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You are definitely welcome to discuss a set list with me and I am happy to tailor a list from the ones provided here.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Absolutely, I am able to provide my own electronic piano with built in speakers for your event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

My ability to play by ear makes the learning of songs easy. Providing I am given good notice and the song isn't a full on Mozart concerto, I am happy to learn a special song for you.
