A man with a lifelong love of swing music, rhythm and blues, jazz and soul, Gareth has a wealth of experience both home and abroad as a professional trumpet player, educator, singer, entertainer and bandleader. As well as having shared the stage with members of The Specials, The Happy Mondays, Fun Lovin' Criminals and many more, he is also trumpet and flugelhorn player for The South (formerly The Beautiful South). He also runs a New Orleans style brass band with a modern twist, a funk and soul outfit and a reggae and ska band and performs hits from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and Louis Prima, right through to modern-day crooner Michael Buble, to make for a perfect classy atmosphere at any event. Singing with passion and style and a permanent smile on his face, he prides himself on audience interaction and putting on the best show possible and catering to the needs of the client and the audience alike. Gareth is fully self-contained with a PA system, battery amplification for outdoor and mobile events if required, and can perform either on his own with the use of high quality full band backing tracks, or with any size band from a guitar or piano player accompanying him right through to a full 18 piece big band.
