Gabby

Gabby is an international keyboardist with over 20 years experience on the keyboard and 16 years experience on the bass guitar. Gabby started playing keyboard in the year 2001 under the tutelage of Isaac Tuffour in Kumasi, Ghana where he played in different churches like the Upper Room Ministry, International Central Gospel Church and others till he joined the HM band which featured in the Bands Alive, a renowned reality show in Ghana where he met great musicians like Bessa Simon, Charles Amoah and Mark Tontoh ( of Osibisa ) who all taught him how to play almost all genres of music. His dexterity on the keyboard makes him the most preferred keyboardist in The Uk, Dubai, Ghana, Germany, Holland and Israel. He has performed with international Artists like Wiyaala, Sarkodie, Pato Ranking, Shatta Wale, Kidi, Samini, Peter of P Square fame, The Tagoe Sisters, Pat Thomas, Nat Brew,The Ghana Bigshots and many more since the year 2010 till now. Gabby has also performed on world class festivals like the Hertme African festival in Netherlands ( with the Ghana Bigshot in 2014), The New World Pass Over Festival in Dimona, Israel ( with WIYAALA and the Patch Bay Band ), The Summerfest in Darmstadt, Germany ( With The Ghana Bigshots) Ghana Music Awards from 2014 to 2021 in Ghana( with the Patch Bay Band ) Mo Ibrahim concert where Youssou N’ Dour and Angélique Kidjo also performed in 2016, All Africans Festival in Dubai in October 2021 with WIYAALA, and many other important events. Gabby also has the experience in playing piano and duet gigs at hotels and restaurants. He played at the Golden tulip hotel( Ghana )weekly from 2010 to 2013. He also played at the Labadi Beach Hotel ( Ghana ) from 2013 to 2018, Accra City Hotel ( Ghana ) from 2014 to 2019 and many other hotels as well as big restaurants like the Star Bites restaurants( Ghana ), Honey Suckle restaurant ( Ghana ), The Jamestown Coffee Shop and the Alley Bar all in Ghana. Gabby has also performed in uncountable big functions like weddings, parties and corporate events in Ghana, Germany and in Israel. Gabby has played a lot of genre of music including Pop, RnB, Soul, Ballads, Afrobeats, Highlife, jazz, blues, country which even qualified him to play with carpet bands in different reality shows like the Vodafone Icons ( in 2013 with the Afro Harmony Band ), Mtn Hitmakers ( from 2015 to 2021 with the Patch Bay Band )and Airtel Trace Music star ( in 2014 with the Patch Bay Band ) all in Ghana. Gabby’s versatility in music earned him a lot of gigs and every band and top artist he has met so far prefers to work with him. He has good conduct , amazing personality, very considerate and diligent as well. Gabby has great skills in hear and play as well as reading abilities which makes him capable of playing almost every genre of music.
