RIVIA are a 4-piece from Liverpool that have over a decade of performance experience between them. The band is made up of Matt (rhythm guitar and vocals), Warren (lead guitar), Rosh (bass and vocals) and drummer Chris. Through their extensive years of gigging, they have carved a name for themselves for their electrifying, high energy shows! RIVIA are able to supply all equipment needed for their live performance, including a full PA system and can also provide music inbetween live sets if required. They cover a wide range of songs from the 50's right up to the present day and are also happy to prepare any special requests you may have. If you don't see a specific song that you would like simply let the band know! We had RIVIA play at our joint 40th and 50th birthday party, and they were absolutely fantastic! Not only were they prompt, reliable, and polite, but their performance was brilliant from start to finish. By the second set, they had everyone on the dance floor, from young children to grandparents.. and the atmosphere was incredible. We couldn’t have asked for more. Many of our guests have already said they’d happily book RIVIA for their own events, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I had the Gondolas perform at my 21st birthday party and they honestly made the night. As well as their incredible talent and stage presence, they were all very friendly and made detailed, prompt communication (with very special thanks to Ben). They made a lot of fans that night including me and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a brilliant, versatile band to bring their function to life. Best of wishes for everything ahead of you and I hope to see you all again soon.

Gondolas put on an amazing show for the awards. They played great songs that got the attendees dancing! Really professional and lovely people. Would book again!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are renowned for our high energy, full of life performances. Our clients have complimented us on how tight and professional we are and how we are capable of performing any song exactly as required.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Punch Tarmeys, Kazamier Gardens, The Jacaranda, Formby Festival, Warrington Music Festival, EBGB's and Heebie Jeebies, The Halfway House (Frodsham),

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Indie rock artists such as The Strokes, The Hives and Fontaines DC however, we have a wide range of musical interests between all 4 of us and each of these musical tastes features in our set lists.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We have been fortunate enough to be asked to play 2 festivals within the last year in Formby and Warrington.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes! We have 2 singers - Rosh and Matt and both sing lead vocals and harmonies. The line up is exactly as mentioned in our profile. If we do have the need to amend the line up due to illness for example, we will always let you know ahead of time and ensure this does not disrupt the performance or quality.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we can offer duo/trio line ups if you would prefer something smaller. We will cater to whatever you would like.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes or in-between live sets, we provide this but there is an additional charge depending on how long you would require it.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, of course. Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event and perform special requests.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

The equipment included in the quote is in relation to our PA system and any other electrical equipment needed - extension leads, speakers, speaker stands.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we are happy to add in a special request if you have any. However, if you require 3 or more, there is an additional charge of £50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
