On Saturday 28th March, I went to Parkdean Holiday Resort, Newquay, to see "Funked Up". What a brilliant evening it was. They are extremely professional and the chemistry between them makes for an amazing performance. Their interaction with the crowd is so warm and friendly, not only did the adults have a great time, the children did too (which the parents plainly appreciated). They give such a powerful performance which just makes you want to get up and dance and their obvious love and enjoyment of music makes for a wonderful evening of entertainment for both adults and families alike. Wherever Funked Up play, no one will leave feeling disappointed as this duo give it their all to ensure everyone has a marvellous and unforgettable time. Sonjia Cooper

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We're musicians we love pop/funk and all the classic hits that make you dance.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line up is two musicians, male and female both singing and guitar. We also have amazing lively high quality backing tracks, absolutely guaranteed to get your guests dancing.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 60 mins before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!”

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes - we perform radio microphones and radio instruments so we can move around freely.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 4m by 2m space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £130 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
