Such a great act. I saw these at a corporate party. They really knew how to get everyone up dancing with a great pick of non-cheese. The guests were happy. Amazing band, great energy! Would defo recommend

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are a fun band. We want to make every event as unique and enjoyable as possible. If not, you might as well plug your phone into a speaker. It has to be enrolling and helping to create memories. We want there to be crowd interaction and singing along.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

There are just too many to list here. However, we have played at over 8500+ events and 600+ weddings as of 2024. Trust us when we say you are in very safe hands.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Any artists who can get 80% -90% of an audience dancing! Queen, Abba, Whitney Houston, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Spice Girls, Mumford and Sons, The Killers, Prince, Tina Turner, Blues Brothers and more.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

In 2023 the Funk City band played at Music on the Meadows festival for 7000+ guests. On our website there are reviews from private parties we have performed at of Robert Downy Jr, Ed Sheeran, Nigella Lawson and others. Also, everyone in the band have had long career in music. Between us, we've been in bands that have headlined Glastonbury, The O2 and more.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Normally yes! We are a professional band of 10 in total. We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have other musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band, our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

We have 3 main lineups. 3, 4 and 6. They are all great for dancing. Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Guitar, Bass and Drums. We also have a 4 piece that can add female vocals and a 6 piece option that includes Sax and Trumpet.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

When we book an event we confirm the whole day/evening. We are always flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up (or even on the day!) to the event just let us know. We are not divas :) We want it to work well for you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes absolutely. We have a brilliant playlist DJ for all the gaps before and after included in the fee. Also, if you create a playlist for dancing we can base our live set around that so you know you are listening/ dancing to YOUR favourite songs.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up in around 60 minutes and normally well before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance. It's a very smooth process

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! We have some songs that almost everyone will love every time. (we do a live version of House of Pain's Jump Around that always smashes it! ) We also would love to build a set list around your choices. It's your event and we want to make it unique to you.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. Bonus. There is a cost to this but we sort it all beforehand so you don't have to worry.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely! We are here for you. If you have a first dance or any special song let's chat about it. We'd love to help.
