Function Republic were absolutely fantastic!!! Really professional, all our messages were replied to within 24 hours, arrived and setup on time. They were really friendly and courteous. Most importantly a fantastic band, great lead vocalist and had the entire wedding party dancing through their two sets that they performed!! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic band for their wedding. The sax player was a bonus!

Thoroughly enjoyed our wedding evening with this amazing band! Josh and Claire really heated up our dance floor and it was not easy with a relatively introverted and quiet crowd! Claire was such an amazing singer! Josh was very responsive during the prep process. We had a special performance request in the middle of the band performance, and they were so accommodative and it all went smoothly :) A 5-star team and thank you for everything!

We booked Function Republic for our wedding recently and we're so happy we did! The band were absolutely amazing and had such a range of songs suitable for guests of all ages. They were very professional to deal with and communication was great. Our guests never left the dance-floor and were raving about the band all evening and following few days. What do your clients love most about your performances?

Claire, our lead singer is the magic of the band and no doubt what your guests will be talking about the most. How we sound is hugely important to us. With clever use of accompaniment tracks alongside our musicians we blow everyone away with a massive sound that can only otherwise be achieved with many more musicians at significant expense.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We're not at liberty to say as we had to sign a disclaimer :)

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our core line-up is as follows: Female Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums however we also offer larger line-ups composed of Keys, Saxophone and additional vocalists.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We’re completely customisable and tailored to your day so when you have a better understanding of timings nearer the day we can sort out the finer details - we'll fit in wherever you need us to!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

We ask for 75-90 minutes to load-in/setup/soundcheck.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we offer the option to make 3 song swaps using songs from our repertoire as well as learning 2 special requests. (e.g First Dance, Father & Daughter Dance)

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3m by 4m space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, we're happy to learn 2 special requests. (e.g First Dance, Father & Daughter Dance) As a band we know a massive range of songs so be please ask us any requests and we'll make every effort to accommodate you.
