Francesco de Pinto aka Mr Franko

I started playing the clarinet at 12, taking private lessons, then at the age of 15 I started studying seriously at the Conservatory of Music "E. R. Duni" - Matera - Italy. I got my Bachelor's Degree (with honours) at 22. At the age of 21, I joined the "Philarmonic Orchestra" of Matera. A year later (1990) I began playing the saxophone and put together a quartet (Jazz, Funk, Pop) to work at private events such as weddings, corporate events, etc. In the year 2000 I moved to Rimini and started playing in disco clubs alongside DJs. In 2010 I moved to London for the first time, where I have played alongside DJs at nightclubs such as Chinawhite (resident), Maddox, Luxx, Aura, Playboy (resident), The Arts Club, Boujis (resident) and Ruffles, as well as private events and weddings. I have played alongside Sam Young, Kaveh, Chad Tyson, Dan Healy, Fabrizia Corsi, Arash, Ollie Humphreys, Sanja Ivisic and Tony Piscitelli. I also play standards function band repertoire in a piece band.
