Francesca is a versatile and captivating Jazz vocalist who can be hired as a stand alone singer, or with her swinging Bellini Society Band! Francesca and her talented ensemble deliver renditions of beloved Swing and Latin jazz from the American Songbook, as well as Classic Soul, Motown and Pop hits, all with a vintage theme. Francesca allows you to experience the essence of Jazz's leading ladies, from Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Nina Simone - alongside Bossa nova from Astrud Gilberto, or hits from Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield and many more. With a client-focused approach, Francesca can prepare requests for a first dance or tailor the band to suit most budgets and needs. Line ups include: Solo singer Duo (vocals, guitar/or keys) Trio (vocals, bass, guitar/or keys) 4 piece (vocals, bass, guitar/or keys and drums) The Bellini Society band is made up of conservatoire trained instrumentalists with a cutting edge for improvisation and musicality. Francesca is professionally trained singer with a Masters degree in performance from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She started her musical journey singing opera in University productions before moving back to her hometown to access London's diverse music scene and complete her training in Jazz vocals. Francesca was featured by Nigel Williams on Jazz Fm and Giles Peterson Worldwide for her lead vocals on the track 'Southern Freez' and her EP was showcased on BBC Radio London Introducing.
