Francesca is a seasoned performer and Jazz vocalist and Masters graduate from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. With a client-focused approach, Francesca creates a bespoke setlist to suit your event; whether that means learning a new song for a first dance, or crafting a set for a for a birthday, corporate event or product launch. She can perform as part of a duo, with a full band or a backing track, providing all equipment necessary for the performance. Performing a range of sophisticated jazz to more upbeat latin beats, her repertoire ranges from the American songbook, jazz, blues, bossa nova and vintage pop covers to in both English and Portuguese. She has performed at prestigious venues across London including the Ned, Anabels, The V&A and Natural History Museums, The National Theatre, Thames river cruises, The Cutty Sark, the Residence of the Brazilian Ambassador to London and for Dolce & Gabbana. Francesca started her musical journey singing opera in University productions before moving back to her hometown to access London's diverse music scene and undertake a Masters in jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Having grown up exposed to artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'day, Louis Jordan and Jobim, the move towards jazz was something she describes as a ‘natural transition’ aided by influencers such as Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones. Francesca was featured by Nigel Williams on Jazz Fm and Giles Peterson Worldwide for her lead vocals on the track 'Southern Freez' and her EP was showcased on BBC Radio London Introducing. Since 2015, Francesca continues to perform as an artist and working musician alongside some of London's top young jazz musicians. She released her EP Devil's Door is 2016 and the single 'In a Man's Arms' is due for release in January 2018 alongside a music video and upcoming tour.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We understand timing can change and always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free!

How much time do you need to set up?

We can normally set up in 20 minutes, but we like to leave plenty of time. We will arrive and be setting up at least an hour before showtime.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Absolutely!!! Suggestions are also welcome! The songs on the list are a range of jazz standards, Brazilian jazz, Motown and Pop built up over the years, but we aim to create a set that works specifically for your event!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

We can provide everything for small to medium sized events. Anything with more than 150 guests may require a larger PA. This is all something we are more than happy to discuss!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Of course! Just let us know and we will see what we can do. There's a chance we already know the song, and if not, we are always happy to build our repertoire!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients love that we bring a classy atmosphere to the event and display genuine musicianship! We are also versatile and can adapt our set list, clothing and audience engagement based on our brief.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Lots of top London locations such as the V&A and Natural History Museums, the Cutty Sark, the National Theatre and on the Thames. We've performed at high profile locations such as the Brazilian Ambassador's Residence in Mayfair and the Taj Mahal in India.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Jazz singers such as: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Diane Reeves... ....Brazilian artists such as: Antonio Carlos Jobim, Joao Gilberto and Eliane Elias And more .... Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Fleetwood Mac Amy Winehouse

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Must have been the private residence of the Brazilian Ambassador in London.... it was a very fancy private party in the heart of Mayfair. We had to go through a lot of security!
