French Horn player, Music leader, singer and teacher based in London. MA from Royal Academy of Music. BA in music from St Catharine's College, Cambridge. Dep for the Lion King, West End. Experienced orchestral musician, interested in a wide variety of genres. Recent performances include London Sinfonietta at the Royal Festival Hall (50th Anniversary Concert, broadcast on BBC Radio 3) and Kings Place, Bishopsgate Institute's West Side Story production, and London Gala Orchestra at St-Martin-in-the-Fields. Member of the Coriolis Wind Quintet and Cornicen Horn Quartet and regular dep for other ensembles including Buck Brass Trio and Chapel Brass (BBC TV recording for 'Good Omens'). Previously: Principal horn of London Music Theatre Orchestra (A Christmas Carol, Lyceum Theatre; Mack and Mabel, Hackney Empire), Westminster Opera Company, London Young Sinfonia, Hampstead Garden Opera and Orion Orchestra. Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, Manson Ensemble side-by-side with London Sinfonietta, Opera, and Symphonic Brass, including for the late Victoria Wood’s memorial. Cambridge University Music Society Symphony Orchestra, Pops Orchestra, Opera Society, Chamber Orchestra, National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain, and National Children's Orchestra, alongside extensive pit band experience. Used to sight-reading at short notice and performing in 'one-off' ensembles to professional standard. Available for a variety of engagements, including orchestral work in concert or in show pits, as part of chamber music ensembles, sacred or secular choirs, or any other event/function. Music Leading & Teaching: Open Academy Fellow 2017/18 (RAM), Music For Life trainee (Wigmore Hall Learning), regular supporting musician for organisations such as English Touring Opera & BBC Proms Extra Family events.
