Klaus creates really personal experiences for his client’s and guests, which ensures everyone has memories that will last a lifetime and be looked upon fondly. The talented Klaus has been active in the music scene for a long time and he is an established musician having his own achievements in different corners of the music industry. Klaus started performing in bands from the age of 15 where he caught the performance bug and hasn’t stopped playing since. Not only has Klaus been writing and performing music all his life, he has also worked as a stand up comedian and an actor. Klaus loves being on stage and performing and has the skill and experience to engage with an audience and cultivate a memorable experience. A great night is more than just a performance, it is a connection between people, and this is what he aims to bring to every single gig. Klaus studied at Brunel University where he gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Music and Theatre Studies, he also studied with the Guitar Institute and completed a teaching qualification in Music and Drama (PGCE). Whilst previously working as a professional actor he played the lead role of Buddy Holly in the West End Musical 'Buddy.' He has also toured in various national theatre touring shows. As a composer, his songs have been recorded by Jocelyn Brown, Hamish Stuart (Average White Band), Ciaren Jeremiah (The Feeling), Mark Mondesir (Julian Joseph & Courteny Pine). His musical compositions have appeared on Channel 4, BBC, Sky and ITV. As a vocalist and guitarist he has performed alongside Nile Rogers, Jocelyn Brown, Joss Stone, Jeff Beck, Dr John, & K.T. Tunstall. Klaus has played in many bands over the years on the live circuit in the UK and in Europe. Venues include the O2, Birmingham NEC, The Garage (islington), The Town House, The Roundhouse, Cafe de Paris, The 100 Club, & Ronnie Scotts. It’s easy to see why Klaus is a crowd favourite with so many impressive achievements under his belt he is more than capable of delivering a high-quality performance time and time again. Klaus’s confident vocals soar with each song from his 165 song repertoire. His favourite genres are rock, pop, soul and folk, however he has plenty of Britrock, classic rock, rock & roll, 80s, 90s, alternative, indie and even some jazz too. His musical inspirations include Stevie Wonder, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Tom Waits, Ben Folds, Crowded House, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, & Elvis. Klaus performs vocals with either an acoustic or electric guitar and can add backing tracks if required. The acoustic set works for smaller spaces, whereas the electric set is perfect for larger rooms, and those who are really wanting to maximise the impact of their event! Klaus welcomes you to tailor the setlist for your big day. For a standard 2x60 mins or 3x40mins performance you can select up to 32 songs from his repertoire, and he will endeavour to accommodate all of your requests. For short notice bookings, you are still very welcome to send over your suggestions, and as always, Klaus will do his utmost to accommodate as many requests as possible. Klaus is also very happy to learn an ‘off the menu’ song request for you, for example, a first dance or your favourite song. Klaus attends each event fully briefed and with a PA and lighting system so that he is fully self-contained, which makes booking the entertainment as simple as clicking the 'Book' button!

We booked Klaus for our wedding in August 2022 and LOVED every second of his performance! He had all our guests dancing all night long and everyone is still talking about how amazing he was. Rhona, his manager was lovely to chat to before the wedding to see what kind of songs we wanted to play and he also played our first dance song! Klaus really turned it from a wedding in to a Party and made our day so special! Would really recommend to anyone!” - London, Wedding

Klaus was amazing. We searched for quite a while to find a singer we really liked and we certainly weren't disappointed with Klaus. From his manager’s communication before the wedding to his sets on the night I really can't recommend him enough. He got the party going and all of our guests commented on how great he was. Amazing set list - he made our night! Thank you so much. We are so happy we chose you!” - London, Wedding,

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as my PA is set up I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for my live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes! I've got over 150 songs you can pick from.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, all PA equipment is included in your quote.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it, so please don't hesitate to ask! If there is a special song you'd like me to learn, I am more than happy to do this for you, free of charge. For every additional 'off-the-menu' song there is a fee of £50 to take into account rehearsal times etc.
